Blue is the color of the car (coupe) that Tom owns. Gatsby drove the coupe to New York and Tom drove it back through the accident. -SS
Blue is the color of Doctor T.J. Eckleburg's eyes. I think blue represents secrets in this book. Since the eyes represent God and since they are watching everything it's implying that the secrets are always there. Also when Tom drove back in the blue car and stopped to see the accident he kept his secret about Myrtle and that might be why he drove back in the blue car. -SS
Gatsby's worker who delivered the invitation to Gatsby's party to Nick was wearing blue, this could represent the beginning of his secret plan to get Daisy back. -SS
